Dr. Darshan Rewanwar is a renowned Plastic, Cosmetic, Reconstructive and Burns surgeon. He has been practising in Nagpur over 22 years. Over the past years Dr. Rewanwar has performed many cosmetic, reconstructive and Burns procedures in multiple hospitals. His services have benefitted many poor patients in and around Central India.
More than a decade of training and experience
Dr. Rewanwar’s surgical career started at GMC Aurangabad after M.B.B.S. in General Surgery and than in Topiwala National Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Hospital, Mumbai in Plastic Surgery. He completed his rigorous General Surgery and Plastic Surgery training with flying colors. After his super specialization in M.Ch. Plastic Surgery; he underwent fellowship program of Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre; Mumbai as a Microvascular and Reconstructive Surgeon.
He is also trained in the Cosmetic Surgery procedures under the guidance of Dr. Lakshyajeet Dhami at Vasudhan Arjin Laser and Cosmetic Surgery Centre; Mumbai and Dr. Mohan Thomas at Cosmetic Surgery Institute; Bandra; Mumbai. Dr. Rewanwar is an expert in Maxillo-facial Surgery which comes under facial Plastic Surgery..
He is one of the project director of Smile Train Project at Child Hospital; Nagpur for treating cleft lip and palate surgeries free of cost and has performed over 1000 cases over many years.
Dr. Rewanwar’s expertise has been acknowledged by various articles in newspapers and magazines. He has also featured on TV and radio programs helping and advising many viewers and listeners all across India.

Dr. Rewanwar is an artist and has won many prizes at intercollegiate events in drama and oration. He is fond of nature and treks. He also actively participates in charitable camps in detection and treatment of plastic surgical and other disabilities. He is also an active Plastic Surgeon for Lifeline Express (hospital on wheels) and has operated many cases from remote places.
He had been associated with Impact India Foundation and worked on Lifeline Express at Durg, Pandra Road, Bhillai, Lonavla and many interior parts of the country.
